Katherine Heigl: A Little Bit Country, A Little Bit Chanel January 9, 2008

quilted Chanel Caviar purse

Katherine Heigl sure is getting a lot of mileage out of her fabulous black quilted Chanel Caviar purse (with the chain and leather handle, of course). Here she pairs it with a cute ruffled blouse with lace details and ultra-long jeans, which doesn’t really work with a high-fashion bag like the Chanel. She should have stuck with a rustic brown leather satchel, and saved the Chanel for something a bit more modern (or at least black). Of course, if I had that hot Chanel handbag I might wear it 24/7 too.

Chanel Caviar Skin Mini Boston Handbag January 9, 2008

Chanel Caviar Skin Mini Boston Handbag

There’s practically nothing better than classic Chanel purses. Just feast your eyes on this scrumptious Caviar Skin Mini Boston Handbag. It’s low-key, but by virtue of its impeccable design and insanely buttery leather, it receives just as much admiration as any ultra-glamorous, over-the-top purse would. And deservedly so, because the camel color is gorgeous, the style promises to last forever and the attention you’ll receive when you carry it is addictive. Treat this gorgeous purse well! Available at Chanel Stores.

Paris Hilton’s Ice Cube Chanel Purse January 9, 2008

Paris Hilton’s Ice Cube Chanel Purse

I love Chanel’s classic 2.55 bag in almost all its incarnations, and marvel at how they keep coming up with fresh ideas for the very iconic bag. When Chanel released the Ice Cube line, I was on the fence, particularly on the 2.55 flap. The handbag is made by attaching vinyl cubes onto metallic lambskin, thereby resembling the quilting of classic Chanels. It’s a fun, modern and daring take on a beloved design. And at $1,650, it is relatively affordable for Chanel. After seeing Paris Hilton toting the bag at a Miami party, I’ve made up my mind about this 2.55. As a general rule of thumb for me, anything on Paris is not for me. If this bag floats your boat, call your local Chanel boutique for more info.

Courteney Cox Catches Up with Chanel & Jennifer Aniston January 9, 2008

Courteney Cox Catches Up with Chanel & Jennifer Aniston

If you’re not in the mood to play dress up, a classic Chanel handbag can work wonders. Just ask Courteney Cox, who wore a quilted black leather Chanel purse (note the leather and chain strap) with an otherwise simple outfit of a black top, jeans, and flats. Courteney grabbed the Chanel to accompany her on a dinner date with BFF Jennifer Aniston, who also rocked a black handbag to complement her sexy black outfit. Both ladies look low-key but chic.

Chanel Sequined Denim Handbag January 9, 2008

Chanel Sequined Denim Handbag

Sequined denim anything sounds like a horrible ’80s faux pas, but somehow Chanel makes it acceptable with this strangely appealing Sequined Denim Handbag. It’s a bit off the beaten path with its minuscule, striped denim squares and complementary white sequins, but no one will mistake this for a cheesy, cheapo accessory – the familiar logo and great workmanship all but ensure that. I’d easily work this into my wardrobe with a summery ensemble, and even the canvas hat would be a cute addition to the mix. Contact Chanel for pricing and availability.
